Robert Piasecki, AIA, LEED AP BD+C
Robert Piasecki, AIA, LEED AP BD+C has become one of the firm’s experts on innovative theaters, classrooms, and high performance designs since joining VMA in 2002. Now elevated to the position of senior associate, Robert has most recently completed Drexel University’s new 180,000 sf high rise LeBow College of Business and is currently managing new theater designs for The Baldwin School and Villanova University. His ability to manage large and complex projects makes him an ideal manager for some of the firm’s most prestigious clients, including acoustic renovations to Verizon Hall at the Kimmel Center and the LEED Gold certified Kurtz Center for the Performing Arts at the William Penn Charter School.
Robert has recently been named an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Architecture at Drexel University, from which he graduated in 2006, and received Drexel’s 40 Under 40 distinguished young alumni award. Robert has also studied abroad in Copenhagen and Rome. He loves spending time with his family, especially during long train rides, renovating his historic Philadelphia row house and riding his bike around the city.
