Juan Tejedor


Juan joined VMA in December 2023 as a designer with a diverse array of project experience, ranging from high-end single-family residential commissions through the construction documentation of a Pueblo tribal housing development. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Washington University and initially worked as an artist and an exhibits specialist. He then decided to pursue his passion for architecture and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a professional degree. While at Penn, he was awarded the Lewis E. Dales Traveling Fellowship to study urbanization patterns in Southeast Asian cities.

Juan is multilingual, with fluent proficiency in Spanish and an elementary knowledge of Italian. He is an avid traveler and has come to particularly appreciate the architectural heritage of Peru through frequent trips to the country.
