Maria Niedziejko joined VMA after graduating with her Master of Architecture from The Catholic University of America, where she also studied as an undergraduate. She served as President of the school’s AIA Student chapter and worked as both a Teaching Assistant, leading introductory-level courses on hand drawing and conceptual development, and as an assistant in the Fabrication Lab.
She has been eager to help with models produced in the VMA model shop, and has also helped produce high-level conceptual renderings in line with our standards. Her attention to detail extends into her work on designing a wide range of projects.
Maria, who fenced sabre in high school, devotes her free time to a wide range of creative interests that include baking, origami, and knitting – and the VMA team are often the grateful recipients of her delicious desserts.
