Meaghan M. Finney
Marketing & Business Development Director
Meaghan joined VMA in early 2017. In addition to meeting with prospective clients and working partners as the firm’s business development lead, she works closely with the communications team and senior staff members on project pursuit and marketing collateral like publications and social media.
Meaghan graduated with honors from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in the History of Art & Architecture and a certificate in Historic Preservation before earning her Master of Science in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania School of Design. At Penn, she was a member of the Penn Museum Graduate Advisory Board and has continued volunteering throughout her career – especially in Philadelphia’s preservation community. She is a former co-chair of the award-winning Young Friends of the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia steering committee, member of AIA Pennsylvania’s Historic Preservation Task Force, and currently co-chairs the AIA Philadelphia Chapter Historic Preservation Committee. She also serves as a committee member for the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Association for Physical Plant Administrators (DVAPPPA) and is currently working on the host committee of the ERAPPA 2021 Conference, to be hosted by DVAPPA.
When she is not working or volunteering, she can be found in the kitchen cooking or outdoors expanding her garden (or reading nerdy articles about historical methods of cooking and/or gardening) but her favorite thing is spending quality time with her family.
