Miranda Cuozzo

Project Designer

Miranda Cuozzo joined VMA in Summer 2023 as a new undergraduate from the University of Notre Dame, where she majored in Architecture with minors in Africana Studies and Studio Art. As a student, she also participated in a design charrette for Habitat for Humanity that sought to design a “kit of parts” for the construction of future affordable housing. Her thesis was recognized with the university’s Noel Blank Design Award, presented to the top two undergraduate thesis projects. She also received a 2022 Gensler Rising Black Designer Scholarship in a national competition recognizing excellence in design and academics. Since moving to Philadelphia, she has continued to practice watercolors and ceramics while seeking new opportunities for community service.
