Rauch Business Center Feasibility Study
Lehigh University College of Business & Economics | Bethlehem, Pennsylvania
The Rauch Business Center (RBC) at Lehigh University has been home to the College of Business and Economics (CBE) since its construction in 1991 but the building can no longer accommodate their growing enrollment in undergraduate, graduate, and executive education programs. VMA produced a feasibility study of options for creating facilities better suited to 21st century business education which encompassed a partial renovation of the RBC plus the design of a new building on an adjacent lot that would provide the necessary additional space.
We are currently working with Lehigh on advancing that vision into full design documentation and construction. Specific goals are to introduce welcoming student engagement space and experiential learning environments such as a business incubator, behavior labs, mock trading floor, strategy rooms, and corporate-style conferencing center. In addition, classrooms will be upgraded to provide spaces like traditional case study rooms. The executive education suite will be developed to a standard commensurate with corporate expectations.
