Rauch Business Center Feasibility Study
Lehigh University College of Business & Economics | Bethlehem, Pennsylvania
The Rauch Business Center (RBC) has been home to Lehigh’s College of Business and Economics (CBE) since its construction in 1991 but can no longer accommodate their growing enrollment in undergraduate, graduate, and executive education programs. VMA produced a feasibility study for a partial renovation of the RBC plus a new building on an adjacent lot that would provide the needed additional space as well as provide the CBE with facilities better suited to 21st century business education.
We are currently working with Lehigh on the implementation of that study. Specific goals are to introduce welcoming student engagement space and experiential learning spaces such as a business incubator, behavior labs, mock trading floor, strategy rooms, and corporate-style conferencing center. In addition, classrooms will be upgraded as traditional case study rooms. The executive education spaces will be developed to a standard commensurate with corporate expectations.
